THE CAROLINA RICE/UNIVISION RADIO SCHOLARSHIP There will be (5) scholarships awarded in the amount of $2,000 each to be usedd for any college expense. Information regarding the scholarship can be picked up from the college office, room 239. All scholarships applications must be post marked by February 15, 2011 in order to be considered. Please note that you will have to write an essay that is between 150-250 on the given topic.

Details concerning the above college scholarship essay contest can be picked up from the college office, room 239. The scholarship award is $500 and all applications and supporting materials must be postmarked by midnight on February 10, 2012.

THE MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. SCHOLAR PROGRAM - ITHACA COLLEGE

If you are a senior and are applying to Ithaca College, you might want to consier the Martin Luther King Jr. Scholar Program (MLK). This program is open to ACADEMICALLY talented students from ethnic and racial baCkgrounds that have been historically underrepresented in U.S. higher education. Students who are accepted as MLK Scholars will receive up to full tuition in aid, with a minimum merit-based scholarship of $25,000.
